Unit is only 4 months old. Used it 3 times to clean pool deck.Unit keeps shutting off after only a few minutes.Seems to overheat after 2-5 minutes of use.Have to wait 15 mins for it to cool down before it will start.I think it's a defective thermal switch [...].
Service and delivery comments:
Service dept (online) is giving me the run around. There is no 800 number to call to talk to a person directly. Very frustrating.
They are quoting from the product manual on how to start the unit. They don't seem to want to address the fact that I've told them that the unit starts, it just stops on its own after a few minutes. It will only start up again after I wait 15-20 minutes for the unit to "rest"!
They are asking me to take the unit apart to check certain parts. My God, the unit is only a couple of months old and has a 1 year warranty! I just want to send it somewhere for free repair or replacement. NO HELP in getting the warranty service address.
I've had 2 other brands of electric power washers in the past that I used to clean my concrete pool deck for about an hour without them shutting down.
DO NOT BUY THIS UNIT!!
