Comments about Jewett Cameron Weatherguard Lawn and Garden Greenhouse (8' W):
Assembled the greenhouse in Mar 2009 and by Feb 2010 the fabric had deteriorated due to UV and sun exposure. The UV properties of fabric are poor and the unit will not last more than 8-12 months. Zipper on door broke within 4 months and I had to use a tarp. Jewett also did nothing to take care of their defective product other than offering to sell me a new one. Don't buy unless you don't value your money.

Comments about Jewett Cameron Weatherguard Lawn and Garden Greenhouse (8' W):
The greenhouse took 3 hours to set up. I don't expect this to work in the winter but it will be a nice place to start seeds in spring. I am getting a second bloom on my roses, which is pretty nice. Not the best looking thing, but as a start OK on my lawn. I used cheap plastic shelving for benches and cheap pots. This is my first greenhouse so I wanted to try this hobby out before investing into something more expensive. I like walking into it and smelling my sage and rosemary even in the fall. I think I will keep it a while and then get a better one.

Comments about Jewett Cameron Weatherguard Lawn and Garden Greenhouse (8' W):
I bought my greenhouse last summer and I love it because:
It is affordable;
lenghthens my short growing season considerably
(a 100w bulb helps to deter overnight freezing);
easy to put up, take down, and store;
sturdy construction;
is vented and provides good growing atmosphere;
provides protection from wind, critters, etc.;
The 8 x 12 gives me room to store my tools, soils, etc. and it keeps my growing area looking neat and attractive.
The only cautionary tip I have is that although it isn't particularly light-weight, it still needs to be anchored to keep high winds from moving it. I tied it to my large garden containers, inside.

Frame design could be improved; however, since I am not an engineer, I could not tell you how that could be done. Still like the product. Stores all our outdoor plants perfectly. Don't have to move them into the garage. Thanks alot.
